“ And you shall consecrate the fiftieth year, and proclaim liberty throughout all the land to all its inhabitants. It shall be a Jubilee for you; and each of you shall return to his possession, and each of you shall return to his family.”
Leviticus 25:10

We have all made our fair share of mistakes in life. Some have provided us lessons to learn from, while others have cost us much in terms of lost time, opportunities and possessions.

In this year of Jubilee, whatever it is you have lost because of a bad decision or mistake, God wants you to experience His provision and restoration in that area. Be it a bad decision that put you in debt, careless words that caused a rift in a dear relationship, or a lapse in judgment resulting in painful consequences, He wants to give you a fresh start this 2017.

Beloved, it’s time to let go of the baggage of the past, and hold on to His promise to you this year. Jesus says to you, “Today, salvation has come to your house!” (See Luke 19:9)

“You crown the year with your goodness, and your paths drip with abundance.”
Psalms 65:11

Haven’t we all heard ourselves and our friends reminiscing the "good ol days” of times past? About how the best time of our lives was when we were back in college? When we were still dating the boy or girl of our dreams? When we were younger and stronger? We feel as if things will never be as great again.

Beloved, God wants you to know that your best days are not behind you but ahead of you! The year of Jubilee—God’s word for us this 2017— is also known as the acceptable year of the Lord. It is a year where salvation and God’s free favors profusely abound!

That means that of all the years of your life, this is going to be your best one yet. This will be the year where you will be at your healthiest, where you will experience the best opportunities, and enjoy the best quality of life and be at the best place in your relationships! And this is all because of His favor on your life!

“Then you shall cause the trumpet of the Jubilee to sound on the tenth day of the seventh month; on the Day of Atonement you shall make the trumpet to sound throughout all your land.”‭‭
Leviticus‬ ‭25:9‬

In the Bible, when God’s people heard the trumpet sound announcing Jubilee, it signalled for them the long-awaited moment of breakthrough and joy. The moment they could rise up and return to what was rightfully theirs. It was the moment of answered prayer. The moment of their miracle finally here.

Beloved, if you have been waiting for the manifestation of healing in your body, or for the restoration of a broken relationship, or deliverance from insurmountable debt, I want to encourage you to believe that this year, you will receive your breakthrough!

It is time to experience the joy and liberty that comes with possessing the inheritance that our Lord Jesus purchased for you at Calvary—health, wholeness and provision of every good thing!
